Appearance:
A lot scruffier than his original design, his hair slightly shaggier and he has a slight goatee begining to grow in his stubble. However, as with any Frenchman, he wears only the finest clothing. His coat is made from expensive red fabrics and is trimmed and detailed and he wears a stylish cravat. He is rarely seen without some form of cigarette hanging from lips that are pulled into a smirk.

Personality:
Carrying on many traits from his usual self, Rémy is cunning, manipulative, sly and has a tendancy to be cruel if it has benefit to him. He keeps the ability to cloak for small periods of time and he uses this as a means to theive from others. However, this Rémy is a lot more free than the other. He has little need to hide his face when he can travel from country to country at will, so he has the chance to be more careless. Or at least, that is how it appears. He plays dumb when he needs to, playing people around to get them to do the hard work for him while he plans the more intricate details.

His main motivators are money and power, though he prefers to be the puppet master than the outright leader. In a sense, he has a soft spot for romance and can be quite charming when he wants to.

Background:
For a long time he was in the French Navy, quite high ranking too. He spent a lot of his life on the sea but always felt controlled by others, and it irritated him. Out of nowhere, he did not show up for his duties, he had ditched his uniform and made off with a small ship. He joined a crew briefly, under the control of a stern and powerful pirate and lingered for a while, studying his movements and becoming close to him. Close enough to bury his knife in his back and steal his beloved map. From then on he has been travelling country to country, working up quite a name for himself amongst pirates and regular people. He is hellbent on finding the treasure that the map will guide him to, but he needs a crew first.

He found Jeremy and Samuel when he made off with Samuel's coins and coaxed them right into his crew. At first he is merely using them, but they seem to have grown on him.
